The MGM Grand calls itself "The City of Entertainment". The hotel 5,034 has rooms and the casino has 171,500 square feet of space. The free Lion Habitat is at the center of all this entartainment. The MGM Grand is also the home of the CBS Television City Research Center where show previews can be seen for free.

The MGM Grand is at the south end of the strip, on the north-east corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.
